Hi Experts, I am using dell inspiron 11 3000 series - 630T. This came with a pre loaded with windows 8 and i recently had a free upgrade to windows 10.
All my applications are running fine except the wireless adapter which seems to have a problem. Once I connect to my home router after some time the wireless connection goes off. It disconnects and then subsequently it gets off.it is not able to find any wireless signal and shows 'No network available'.
BTH MS_BTHPAN Free Driver Download. World's most popular driver download site. Jul 14, 2015 Describes an update to improve diagnostics for the Bluetooth driver in Windows. Update to improve Bluetooth driver diagnosis in.
Then I again do a troubleshoot problems and things gets fixed. This happens almost thrice in an hour.
I have no reason to believe that there is a problem with my router in broadcasting signals as my phone and another laptop (running on windows 7) never have a disrupted connection. Even when my dell shows no internet connection, these other devices are still connected to the network and keep getting internet feeds. I have seen many posts in this regards and I am also not running any VPN connection or service.
Please find the troubleshoot diagnostics mentioned below and also the screenshot of my wireless set up which shows that SSID broadcast is enabled. Please suggest what to do to permanently resolve the issue. I see that many people are having the same problem. I discovered the cause of the wifi disconnecting but Microsoft needs to fix it, I can't do it. I tried to describe the problem to tech support, on Sept 21, 2016, but they hung up on me.
I hope they get the message from this post and fix the problem. The problem is that all the 'available' wifi networks are checked as 'connect automatically' and it’s constantly trying to switch to the strongest one, which may not be the one I'm authorized to be on. If I click on the wifi icon to view the available networks and un-check all the boxes for “connect automatically”, close and re-open the dialog, then they are all checked again. That’s why I say that I can’t fix the problem, Microsoft has to fix the bug.
They should at least ask the user if they want to switch to a different network before switching and give the opportunity to say “never to that network.” I know it’s not a problem with my wifi because it works flawlessly if I’m in the same room with the source. In that case, none of the other wifi signals can try to cut in, but if I go into the room I desire, my neighbor’s signal is stronger than mine so it tries to connect to that one, which it can’t because I don’t have the password. Sometimes, it appears as though it goes back to mine, but when I try to open a page, it toggles back to his and says, “network change detected” or “not connected to the internet” or “no internet.” After a while, it rejects all wifi signals until I restart the computer. To make things worse, if I try to reset the wifi by turning it off and back on, either by using the trouble-shooter or manually, it freezes the computer and I have to restart anyway. Note: Moving the router is not an option for me. Plus, I didn’t have this problem until Windows 10 made its latest update to ‘build 1607’, which happened around Sept 2, 2016. Please, I just want to un-check those boxes and have them 'stay' un-checked; that’s all I want.
